Received quite a few comments and queries on my post Satanic Verses and this is some sort of continuation to it. I am sure many of you have heard of Subliminal Messages, and if not click that and you can have more info supplied by Wikipedia.
Started back in 1898 and being researched by many scientists and groups but opinion varies with some quarters saying that it was not very effective and some swear by it. One of my pal kuanhoong mentioned that what is the point of masking the satanic verses backwards in audio since nobody can understand it! Credit to kuanhoong who asks this and truly even many psychologists said that and their opinion were same as kuanhoong.
Jean also said that she have heard of it being mentioned when she was a kid. Mommibee mentioned about the christian message masked into christian songs. Being not an expert or claiming any real knowledge of these things, all I can only venture is that somehow satanists do speak backwards and perhaps thats why. Another personal point is that spiritual things can only be perceived and understand spiritually rather than mentally.
Back to the point of subliminal messages which the masking of satanic messages or any other messages fall under, is now widely used by some psychologist who uses hypnotisim in their treatment! I believe some advertising companies also do that and one of the well known experiment was conducted by Coca-cola back in 1957! They used video which works like this. Slotting in a few frames into the video tape and when played back normally, people don't see the ads but subconsciously they picked it up! The slotted frames said 'Drink Coca-cola' The result was that there was an increase in Coca-cola sales that day. Well that much for effectiveness but later in 1958, UK, US and Australia banned the use of subliminal suggestions in this form. Perhaps the next time when you are in a cineplex watching a movie and suddenly you feel an urge to have pop-corns, maybe you are being subliminally suggested! Perhaps.
What I think would be a favorite for many husbands who have naggy wives, is to mask some messages 'I am a good wife, so I am not going to nag' into her favorite music and play it all day long! hehe! Oh that was just an example so men, used your creativity and suggest anything to your wives and see how effective subliminal messaging goes! Guess better than sms! hehe!
Lately in the News was this big issue about Salman Rushidie being Knighted by the Queen of England and this was met with strong protests from certain Islamic quarters from Pakistan and they are pushing for Osama Bin Laden to be Knighted as well! The big hoohah was related to a book written by Rushidie titled “Satanic Verses” back in the late 70’s or early 80’s which offended the Muslims worldwide.
Talking about satanic verses, I remembered back in the mid-80’s there was this ‘discovery’ that certain Metallic Music and some Pops were found to contain satanic messages too! You can only hear them when these songs were played backwards! You can’t do it at home on your audio equipment but need specialized equipment to do that. Basically satanists used to speak backwards! For example :-
“dog si eh natas”
Got it? Reverse the letters and it reads ‘satan he is god’! I personally had heard this from the reversed tape of a pop song but I cannot remember which one now. The other pop song which was so hot then and even today it is being played over the radio is ‘Hotel California’ by the group Eagles! If not for the satanic messages within the song, it would be such a beautiful song with great music! Well listen to it (of course not backwards) and pay attention to the lyrics! What were they singing about? Other songs include the all time best was ‘Stairway to Heaven’ and a Metallic Group called ‘KISS” which stands for ‘knights in satan’s service’. Perhaps another time another post I will share more details. So be careful what you are listening to!
Of course my answer is yes if you just look around at Nature! However this was not what my friend Bubba Stuff meant on her latest Post. She refers to women in general and she thinks there is no such thing as natural beauty!
Sorry bubba, I beg to disagree with you! Well not entirely of course but generally speaking. Even beautiful girls ( in my opinion) apply make-up and other stuff to enhance their beauty! Perhaps they all get caught-up with the looks of movie stars on silver screens! Hey! did you notice that in Taiwan, most of the movie stars sort of have the same kind of look or should I say features? Maybe they go to the same plastic surgeons.
Back to my point of natural beauty, I discovered that the small town girls are the most natural in their beauty than city gals in that they use very light to no make-up at all. Sometimes just lipstick! I think they look so gorgeous and fresh! I come from a small town and I know what I am talking about! Just visit the rural towns in Malaysia and you will discover a whole load of natural beauties! Of course you must not leave out Kampar and Ipoh for they boasts of producing the most number of beautiful girls! Their complexion is as smooth as the famous 'Tau Foo Far' from there! For my foreign bloggers Tow Foo Far is just steamed soya curd which when cooked looks like egg custard! Cheers!
