Best Friends Award
November 30, 2007 | 33 Comments
This is one Award that I cherish very much and it came from Clumsy Mommy! Thanks Sweetie for granting me this Award! I love this Award because it symbolizes the ’spirit of blogging’ and that is to make friends, plenty of great friends who bother to find the time amidst their busy schedule to visit, leave a comment and tagging! My hope is that as each day passes, there will be more added to our list!
“Do you know the relationship between your 2 eyes? They blink together, move together, cry together, see things together and sleep together. Even though they never see each other, friendship should be just like that! Life is like Hell without FRIENDS. Its ‘World Best Friend Week’. Send this to your best friends to let them know you appreciate them. “

Christmas Mystery
November 30, 2007 | 6 Comments
Christmas is less than a month away and soon you’ll hear Christmas Songs being played at hotels, shopping malls etc. There is one particular Carol that I never understood its meaning and thats the Twelve Days of Christmas! Do you? Then some years back someone sent me this excerpt explaining the meaning and so hope to pass on to those who want to know the meaning of this favourite Carol!
12 Days of Christmas–Defined
There is one Christmas Carol that has always baffled me.
What in the world do leaping lords, French hens, swimming swans, and especially the partridge who won’t come out of the pear tree have to do with Christmas?
Today, I found out. From 1558 until 1829, Roman Catholics in England were not permitted to practice their faith openly. Someone
during that era wrote this carol as a catechism song for young Catholics. It has two levels of meaning: the surface meaning plus a
hidden meaning known only to members of their church. Each element in the carol has a code word for a religious reality, which the children could remember.
The partridge in a pear tree was Jesus Christ.
Two turtledoves were the Old and New Testaments
Three French hens stood for faith, hope and love.
The four calling birds were the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke & John.
The five golden rings recalled the Torah or Law, the first five books of the Old Testament.
The six geese a-laying stood for the six days of creation.
Seven swans a-swimming represented the sevenfold gifts of the Holy Spirit: Prophesy, Serving, Teaching, Exhortation, Contribution, Leadership, and Mercy.
The eight maids a-milking were the eight beatitudes.
Nine ladies dancing were the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self Control.
The ten lords a-leaping were the Ten Commandments.
The eleven pipers piping stood for the eleven faithful disciples.
The twelve drummers drumming symbolized the twelve points of belief in The Apostles’ Creed.

Audio Books on the Rise!
November 26, 2007 | 17 Comments
I was ‘reading’ Audio Books quite a bit and I find it very helpful! You don’t get eye-strained like when you are reading those small prints on paper-back type of books and moreover you can listen to it while you are doing something else like mopping and cleaning the house! Hey! if you love Sci-Fi this is a great place to get your Audio Books, MP3 etc.

Disconnected Again!
November 26, 2007 | 4 Comments
I was disconnected again for two days! this time is not the fault of my ISP. Well Saturday was such a busy day that I did not have the opportunity to turn on my computer. On Sunday evening I tired and tried but unable to log-on. Little did I know that dawn had changed the password for the wireless router! Not until this afternoon that she told me! Its a case of too many administrators round the house!
Sorry to my friends Clumsymommy and Marzie who had something for me! thanks pals will do your memes tommorrow as it is getting a bit late and I could hardly keep my eyes open! Good night and have a great evening!
Kicking Google’s Ass
November 23, 2007 | 8 Comments
I am tired of hearing the recent rave about so many people or websites or blogs having their PR slashed! Big Deal! It seems to me it is easier to get PR from New Zealand than getting PR from Google Land! For those who are mad at Google I have something for you guys to vent your frustrations on by Kicking Google’s Fat Ass HERE!
I was not affected at all! My PR ranking stays steady for the past 10 months. Hey don’t be so annoyed, after all PR is only a arbitrary sense of worth established by some mathematical formulae and you won’t die without it!!! Feeling better now? If not kick that butt again! I guess I have the issue covered from top to bottom!
