Law of Duality

The Law of Duality is a Natural Law governing the whole of life and creation. Examples of this Law is the Yin and Yang in Chinese Philosophy, the Positive and Negative Ions in Science. Perhaps the following specially drawn pictures illustrate this Law and give us much food for thought and reflection!

MAS – Ending Episode

It is only fair that I put a closure to the MAS series! Thank-you for your prayers and everything turned out fine eventually. Jay got the tickets and right now Dawn is on her way home to KL! In fact we will be meeting her at KLIA around 9pm tonight

MAS Ms. Ambia responded to my emails and I guess she helped to co-ordinate matters with MAS Auckland! Thanks Ambia for I am sure it is your help that jay managed to collect the tickets yesterday! So this concludes the mini series and once more a happy satisfied customer with MAS.

What I learned is that booking online is fine but make sure its for yourself and not for somebody else! Cheers!

Best of The Best

Lately I did a post on 'Drinkable Water' with a comment coming from my good friend and fellow blogger vivienne which I reproduce here as a point of reference! By the way vivienne runs her own advertising company and host a blog call Versa Creations. I am learning quite a lot of advertising philosophies and strategies there! Hopefully I can use what I learned for my own online business! he!he!
Bokjae, some Japanese swear by drinking "live" water. Our water is being purified and the added chemicals supposedly killed the natural life of water. Well, not too sure about "live" water but I have got here a photo from a friend living in NZ and is called "DIET WATER"!!! This is the first time I ever come across such a thing! All along I thought water contains Zero Calories! How it works? Anyone knows about this thing? Would love to learn from you about this Diet Water! From the label it looks like it comes from Sapporo, Japan!
Just on passing I would encourage those of you who are health conscious to drop by Nurture Your Life to learn more great tips on how to get in shape, eat the right way, sprouting, longer life and hey I am also co-blogging there about Stroke! Thank-you for your support and encouragement!

MAS Part II

For my concerned blogger friends, this is becoming a TV Sequel of I hope only 2 Parts! I emailed MAS Auckland on last Friday! They don't work Sat. and Sun. and Monday night I received an email informing me that my daughter's ticket was issued! I am totally surprised because my son jay was unable to collect the tickets at the MAS Office earlier in the afternoon! So what it meant that the ticket issued? Perhaps already printed out but waiting to be picked-up? If that's true then all my worries are over!

This morning I received more woes and was told by jay that the credit card info were incorrect! I was so shocked! Then I realized that I purchased the ticket with my Visa from Wespac Bank NZ! So it was my fault really for giving them my Malaysian Citibank Visa! See old people can be that confused! Moreover it was Rock's Card that I used so got to re-send Rock's Passport and Credit Card details all over again! For the past years, I used my local credit card but this time use the NZ one and that's the confusion! In addition trying to save some conversion loss here! by paying in Kiwi dollars rather than by Ringgit!

Now wait for news tommorow from jay whether he has any luck to pick-up the tickets! What an event! I guess such things make life interesting and get some excitement in a simple thing like pick-up an airline ticket! Please pray that tommorow there will not be a Part III! Cheers and thanks to all you Bloggers who commented on Part I!

Mana Ada System

In short it stands for MAS our National Carrier! Malaysian Airlines System! Due to ignorance on my part I guess, little did I realized that booking a flight ticket for my daughter can become a nightmare when coming to collecting the flight tickets! Perhaps due to security reasons it is not possible for someone to collect the flight tickets other than the payee or the passenger! This applies to internet bookings only!

I had made an online purchase for my daughter to return to Malaysia during her summer break and to my frustration, I am unable to get my son jay to collect the flight tickets for dawn! The problem arises because dawn is in Wellington and she is making a connecting flight at Auckland for her flight to KLIA on the same day! I thought it would be expedient for jay to collect the tickets and pass on to dawn to check in at the Auckland Airport!

It seems now that either I, the payee collect the ticket (which is quite impractical since I am in KL) or the passenger (dawn) to collect not at the Airport but at the MAS Office in Auckland city! Since dawn is arriving Auckland from Wellington around 12 noon and connect to KL around 2pm it would be dicey to go to the city to collect her tickets and rush back to the Auckland airport!

The problem is not so much the change in collecting tickets but the fact that after trying to get help from MAS KL, all they say was that I have to convince the MAS Office in Auckland that I am the payee and show them copy of my ID and Credit Card! This means that I have to spend quite a bit on International Calls to do that! They would not lift a finger to help a customer and just say that's regulations! That much for Customer Service! They just cannot help! period!

I tried calling the MAS Office in Auckland and was put on hold for Goodness Sake I don't know how long! I can see my Telephone Bill rising by the seconds! Finally when put through all I got was they cannot help! I was asked to furnish proof that I am the payee by sending to them a copy of my Credit Card; Passport and all they can say is that dawn can get her flight tickets issued at the check-in counter producing the above documents as proof!

Another problem I had was trying to get Contact Information from MAS Website! I am unable to get their telephone and fax number! So I tried using Yellow Pages online and discovered that their telephone numbers had changed but the old numbers were still there! Finally I tried Yellow Pages NZ and again unable to get MAS NZ fax or telephone number! Only an 0800 number which I cannot use from here! Visited the MAS NZ website the same old problem, no contact information. Sent them an email but as of today still not getting a response! This is frustration in the highest order!

Finally contacted jay to call the Auckland Office to sort things out and finally got some tips on how to go round this unique problem and that is get the MAS Office to issue the ticket at the check-in counter when dawn checks in! So I guess there is nothing much that I could do except to pray that all things work out on that day! I think it is easier to trust in God to intervene than rely on MAS to be helpful! Well no wonder Jesus never trusted men, learning the hard way!
