Computer Gender
Many of us bloggers spend quite a bit of time in front of our computers. Can you tell whether your computer is Male or Female? Of course there are no physical attributes to tell the difference but more of observing the computer’s behavourial patterns to determine the gender. Most men think their computers are Female and most women think that their computers are Male. There are valid persuasive arguments on both sides so lets see how they come to their conclusions.
The Ladies :
- They have lots of data but are still clueless.
- They are suppose to help you solve problems, but half the time they are the problem.
- As soon as you commit to one you realize that, if you had waited a little longer, you could have obtained a better model.
- In order to get their attention, you have to turn them on.
- Big power suges knock them out for the rest of the day.
The Gentlemen :
- No one but the Creator understand their internal logic.
- The native language they communicate with other computers is incomprehensible to everyone else.
- The message ‘Bad command or file name’ is about as informative as ‘If you don’t know why I’m mad at you, then I’m not going to tell you.’
- Even the smallest mistakes are stored in long-term memory for later retrieval.
- As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find yourself spending half your pay cheque on accessories for it.
Do anyone of you, male or female, have additional things to add?
