Lifelong Learning

The Chinese have a favorite saying that goes like this, " Even if one lives to 99 there is still something to learn". That to me is a time proven truth in any person's life as well as true in my own life. Learning is not limited to having an education from schools alone although that is a very important foundational part. I am sure you also have heard that "A man is old when he stops looking" but personally more appropriate is "A man is old when he stops learning". When I reflect back on this process of learning in terms of getting an education, say 30 years ago when I was still pursuing my studies, joining Institutes of Education to learn was quite difficult if not absolutely challenging. One thing was there was a lack of such Institutes then and going overseas was very expensive plus applying to such Institutes were tedious and a long process. You only know whether you are accepted after 3 months! Forget about calling because first they do not entertain you and the charges were exorbitant! Today, it is much simpler and many to choose from. Hey you can even learn online. Saves you quite a substantial amount of cash too! Even in the medical field, doing operation and connecting online to Specialists overseas for real time consultation is already an in thing. So if you are a working person and do not have the time nor afford to stop work but yet still want to have to improve yourself then explore your options of doing it online! Available fields like Business Management, Information Technology, Human Services and Psychology up to Bachelor's Degree.
