Unique Life Story Of True Grit

moving

This story was relayed to me by a good friend and is about Hon Yan, a little Chinese girl living somewhere in rural China. At a very young age she lost both her legs in an accident but she survived. Without her legs, Hon Yan learned to moved around with her hands and her parents used a deflated basketball for her base so that she could sit on it upright like she's standing! Hon yan goes to school as other kids do but I guess the people around her accepts her for who she is rather than treat her as abnormal

This brave little girl goes about her life just like any normal kid plus she is known to be always smiling!.I admire the courage of this little girl that despite her being handicapped continue her life with a smile instead of bitterness and withdrawn!

Eventually, she managed to get herself a pair of artificial legs and she is learning to walk again! I just want to share this encouraging story so that for those who were in less fortunate circumstances can learn the courage and determination of Hon Yan to continue to lead life with a purpose instead of wallowing in self-pity!
