Safety For Women
Recently down in Johore State there were a spade of horrible rapes and now the Government is very serious about tackling these serious crimes by mobilizing hundreds of police personnel to the area. Hurray for this action taken.
I came across some very good tips for women by fellow blogger My Territory on her post titled Ladies Please Read. There were 9 good points given and I need not repeat them here. Received this from a friend and I think it is very useful to know.
Always keep your car alarm with you by the bedside and if you suspect someone is trying to break into your house press the emergency alarm! the least that it can do is to cause a stir to scare them off.
Apart from these recent spade of rapes, there were also quite a few break-ins in Petaling Jaya, that's where I live. So take note of the above point and who knows you may save your neighbour's house from being broken into!

it is very scary nowadays. can you believe it, a year ago, there was a break-in in my house while my mom was alone sleeping inside.
luckily the robbers went off without disturbing her. the burglar had been very much decent in that sense, thank god.
